We utilize tools and technology in several areas of power generation, such as CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler). The (momentary) grab sampling method adopted to monitor air quality. This is a commonly used method in measuring ambient air quality (free air) by installing an inpinger device. This tool is applicable for capturing particles in accordance with the test parameters.
Several TBP business units and partners have also implemented other efforts to support emission reduction, which include the following.
1. Utilization of solar panels on street lights around the mine operational area and nickel processing facilities.
2. Installation of CEMS (Continous Emission Monitoring System) to monitor emissions in the RKEF technology power plant area.
3. Utilization of CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler) in Halmahera Persada Lygend power plant area.
4. The use of ESP (Electro Static Precipitation) as a combustion dust capture device with the ability to capture up to 99.84%.
Air Quality Monitoring 2021: kinetic test and CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System) show the emission value does not exceed the quality standard of Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation N0.15/2019 2022: The plan is the same as 2021 |
