TBP has a 45.1% investment in Halmahera Persada Lygend. This pioneering industry produces Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (MHP) with nickel sulfate and cobalt sulfate as final products. Nickel sulfate (NiSO4) is useful as a precursor material for lithium battery cathodes or electric vehicle batteries, while cobalt sulfate (CoSO4) is used as a lithium battery cathode material.
